Great Bands we know and love

A great local Maine band, and good friends of Shawn Mercer and the Boondock Blues Band. Check them out
The Toughcats
These guys are awesome. They are another great Maine band. They live on Fox Island off the coast, and they are making a splash on the local scene. We're planning a show with them in late January. They have great videos and audio tracks on their website.
Ameranouche
Ameranouche is an acoustic swing and gypsy jazz trio. This is one of those bands that will just thrill and amaze any audience. They are truely increadible musicians. You can hear it in their recorded tracks, but to see them live is when the 'wow factor' really kicks in.
Grace Potter and the Nocturnals
Grace and the boys are about to explode on the international music scene. Shawn has opened for them several times, and even got to perform a few numbers on stage with them once. Check them out.
Scott Tournet
Scott is the guitar player for Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. He is very talented. He has two solo albums that are both worth having in your collection.
Kreg Viesselman
Kreg is a good friend, and a Red Kite Records recording artis. He's just released a new albulm call 'The Pull', and it is truely fantastic. Check him out.
Denise Dill
Denise is a great singer/songwriter who has several CD's out. She opened for us in Unity, and we had to have to her join us for another show.
Kate Wegner and Chuck Donnelly
Awesome old time, celtic fusion band...
Sarah Borges and the Broken Singles
We opened for Sarah at last year's WERU's Winter Showcase. These guys are great fun, and good people. Sarah was recently voted best female vocalist in the Boston Music Awards. Visit their site, and go see them when they come through your area.
